Details

Due to the 2-year public sector pay freeze from 2011 to 2012 for public sector workforces earning more than £21,000 per year, the DDRB were not required to make recommendations on the remuneration of doctors and dentists, including independent contractor general medical practitioners (GMPs) and general dental practitioners (GDPs), in the United Kingdom for 2012 to 2013, as all doctors and dentists have full-time equivalent earnings of more than £21,000 per year.

In the context of this revised remit, the report monitors recruitment, retention, motivation and other relevant matters.
